Activating your Optimus is simple. Just follow these steps:

After your activation is complete, you will receive a text message detailing how to download the i-wireless My Account app for your Optimus.
- Insert the battery into the back of the phone. Press and hold the red POWER button and wait for your phone to power on. Do not attempt to use your phone at this time.
- Your phone will begin the over-the-air programming while it communicates with the network. Be patient, this may take several minutes.
- Your phone will go through a series of programming screens. Follow any on-screen prompts by pressing OK as needed. When the over-the-air programming is complete, your phone will power off then back on.
- Once your phone powers back on, you may need to unlock the main screen by sliding the UNLOCK button to the right. A message will appear instructing you to UPDATE PRL. Press CANCEL when this message appears.
- You are now ready to select your plan by calling 611 directly from your phone. Follow the prompts to select your plan and add money to your account using a debit or credit card or by redeeming an i-wireless airtime card. Note: you may need to open the 'Tonepad' on your handset in order to make selections.
- Register for the FREE MINUTES* rewards program by entering your Shopper's or Rewards card number. Each time you spend $100 at participating Kroger-owned stores, you'll automatically receive a FREE MINUTES reward applied to your account.
- You will receive your Optimus number, and enter your 4-digit account passcode at this time in order to complete the activation process.
No. Each Operating System has their own store with apps that are compatible with their operating systems only. You will need to purchase all apps for your i-wireless Smartphone from the Android Market.
The activation process can be completed directly from the phone by accessing MAIN » SETTINGS » ACTIVATE and following the prompts provided on the screen.
No. The Seek is a touchscreen device, but it is not supported by a mobile operating system such as Windows Mobile, iPhone OS, Google’s Andriod, Symbian OS, Blackberry, Web OS or Linux.
Yes. Mobile email gives customers access to their personal email accounts such as Yahoo Mail, MSN, AOL and Gmail. You may also use a POP3 service. The mobile email functionality notifies customers when a new message has been delivered to their inbox. Corporate enterprise email access is not available on the Samsung Seek.
